We use and/or provide a number of products for use with our hosting services. If

| Analog |
Software for analysing and reporting the traffic through a web site. We use
this product to provide you with statistical reports about your web site.

| Apache |
Software for serving web sites. We use CSWS, which is built on Apache, as our
primary web serving product.
|
| C |
A computer programming language. Most of the products we use are written in C.
You can write your own programs in C for deployment as programs behind your web
site. See also CGI.

| C++ |
An object oriented computer programming language. Some of the products we use are written in C++.
You can write your own programs in C++ for deployment as programs behind your web
site. See also CGI.

| CGI |
The term often used to describe the use of programs on the server to extend your
web site. CGI programs may be scripts written in DCL, Perl, Python or the
various UNIX shells, or they may be programs written in C, C++
or Java.
In all cases, except a private server, we require that the sources of
CGI programs be kept on our server. We reserve the right to inspect the sources
and if necessary disable the use of CGI for a site. CGI programs which cause
excessive CPU loads on our system may also be disabled.
Other computer programming languages like Fortran may be available. If
your site is hosted using Microsoft IIS, you may use ASP and other Miscrosoft
techniques. However, we still require the source of the software to be available
when these run on a shared server.

| CSWS |
Compaq Secure Web Server, a supported version of Apache designed to run on
OpenVMS and Tru64 Unix.

| FrontPage |
A Microsoft product used for creating and, with the frontpage server extensions,
enhancing your web site. We charge an additional $100 to setup FrontPage server
extensions for a web site.

| IIS |
The Microsoft web site and ftp serving software which we use on computers
running Windows 2000 Server. By default, we will host your site on a Tru64 Unix
server. If you need to use Microsoft IIS, we may charge an additional fee.

| Java |
An object oriented computer programming language. Some of the products we use
are written in Java. You can write your own programs in Java for deployment as
applets used by your web site or servlets for use programs behind your web
site. Use of Java servlets requires a private web service or server.
|
| Mailman |
An email list manager. This is our preferred product in this area. It allows the
list owner to manage their list, and list subscribers to manage their
subscription through a web interface. It also includes the email tyle
subscribe and unsubscribe requests similr to other email list managers.
|
| Majordomo |
An email list manager. Although we can provide Majordomo if you require it, we
normally implement email lists uting Mailman.
|
| OpenVMS |
A powerful operating system supplied and fully supported by Compaq. We use this
on some of our AlphaServer and VAX computers. The secure parts of our own web
sites are hosted on this platform.

| Perl |
A computer programming language. Some of the products we use are written in
Perl. You can write your own programs in Perl for deployment as programs behind your web
site. See also CGI.

| PHP |
A web site programming language. Some of the products we use are written in
PHP. You can write your own programs in PHP for deployment as programs behind your web
site. Use of PHP may require a private web service or server. See also CGI.

| Postgres |
An SQL database product. Some of the products we use have a Postgres database.
|
| Python |
A computer programming language. Some of the products we use are written in
Python. You can write your own programs in Python for deployment as programs behind your web
site. See also CGI.

| Telnet |
We allow Telnet access to our servers.
|
| Tru64 Unix |
A version of unix supplied and fully supporterd by Compaq. We use this on our
AlphaServer computers. This platform provieds our main web hosting service.

| Unix Shell |
The command language used with Telnet sessions can also be used to write CGI
scripts. The default shell we provide for you is bash. You may requeste a
different default shell such as ksh if you wish. See also CGI.

| Windows 2000 |
We can support web hosting using Microsoft IIS on this platform. We also support
customers with Windows 2000 networks in their offices. We can setup and manage
your internal network and its connection to the Internet through us or another
party.
