iOsphere provides a range of flexible and competitively priced hosting solutions.

• You can choose between packages with generous storage space, site traffic and account allocations.
• We will allow you to deploy your own server-side scripts and programs
• A detailed break down of your site's traffic is provided on a daily basis using the Analog program.
• You can manage your site using telnet and ftp connections to our servers.
• Private web server instances can be provided for special needs such as java servlets.
• We offer a special low priced solution for elegible community groups.

hosting packages

We offer several packages for domain hosting for both web sites and email servers. The costs and resource allocations for each of these packages is outlined in the accompanying table and explanation of the charges is included below.

registration

You can register your domain yourself or we can do it for you for $150 for two years. If you handle this yourself, you need to remember to renew your domain when necessary. If we handle this, we will automatically renew your domain and charge you every two years.

setup

This once off fee includes setting up your domain (including name server set up and delegation), web site, ftp and email. Note that this doesn't include developing your web site. You may wish to do this yourself, get us to do it or engage another person or business to do it. If you want email only, the setup fee is reduced to $60.

annual fee

We charge an annual fee for hosting your domain which is payable in advance.

disk space

Each package has an amount of disk space allocated. This covers all aspects of your domain including web site, traffic logs, stored emails etc. If the amount included in the basic domain charge is insufficient, addional storage is available at $10 per 10MB per year for pre-paid space.

traffic

All data traffic sent to and from your web site is measured. This includes downloads from and uploads to your web site and email traffic. Each package has its own allocation. Extra traffic charges will be added to your next annual invoice or invoiced separately.

accounts

In order to manage your domain, send and receive emails, use ftp etc, you need at least one account. Each package includes the ability to support multiple accounts. Where you need more than the number included in the basic domain charge, they are available at $6 per year.

community package

Eligible community groups are generally those that are 'not for profit' using a .org.au domain suffix and without an office that is staffed for more than 15 hours per week. We reserve the right to determine whether an organisation is eligible for this rate.

private web service

You may need a private web service instance for using Java servlets or for other reasons. This costs an additional $300 per year on the standard package. This option is not available for the light or community packages.
